2012 Legend 94
Updated for 2012, the Legend (formerly the Sultan) 94 is back, and better than ever. The construction primarily is the same: 2 sheets of metal sandwiched between a wood core. The difference is the tip: a new rockered tip (low rise) allows for better softer snow handling and easier turn initiation. This is perhaps the most versatile ski we sell; definitely among the best carvers in the key, do-everything 94mm underfoot width. A great daily driver for the skier looking for everything from good groomer zip and grip, to bumps, to crud and soft snow. It floats well in new snow too, and with the new rockered tip, really enters the turn with ease. Overall feel is smooth, damp, and muscular: not overly energetic. This is a key ski in an everyday width; if you only want one ski for Western conditions, the Legend 94 deserves serious consideration.
